Kent and Sussex are beautiful counties and we visit them a lot, searching out the barns. In Kent they are mainly timber-framed aisled barns, while in Sussex there are also many built from flint and brick. Unfortunately there are very few generally open to the public although some may be visited on Heritage Open Days in September.
