The Farm at Acton Scott is more or less unchanged from the end of the nineteenth century. It was the setting for the TV series “The Victorian Farm”. It has a superb farmyard, two wings are formed by the dairy and the great barn, which has a wheel house on the back. The other two wings are formed by pig-sties, a granary and other farm buildings. There is a horse gin and a midden in the yard itself.
There are demonstrations of blacksmithing, the work of the wheelwright, ploughing and threshing with steam threshers. The image on the left links to the website.
