Ken’s Great Barns - Places to Visit

The Rural Life Centre

The Rural Life Centre, near Farnham in Surrey, is an open air museum based on a collection assembled by the late Mr & Mrs Henry Jackson and now run by a charitable trust. There are many rescued rural buildings housing an excellent display of farm machinery as well as some beautiful models (as shown above). There is also a working forge, a light railway and a half-size Wealden blast furnace.

There are regular displays and courses in rural crafts. Click the image on the left to check out their website for details.
