I spend a lot of time searching for barns that I can visit. Searching “barn+cafe” I came across the page for Churchfields Farmhouse Ice Cream in Salwarpe, Worcestershire. I used Google Maps to check if there was a real barn there and found an image of a rather delapidated building (below).
The barn is a four bay, timber framed barn. It has undergone an amazing transformation. As you can see (bottom right) it has been beautifully and imaginatively restored and is now the Barn Cafe selling drinks, food and particularly delicious, farmhouse ice cream. An upper floor has been inserted providing plenty of seating (top right). Check their website for opening times.
