I spend a lot of time searching for barns that I can visit. Searching “barn+cafe” I came across the page for Churchfields Farmhouse Ice Cream. When I used Google Maps to check if there was a real barn there I found the image below. On one of the hottest days in July 2018 we decided to pay a visit.

The barn is a four bay, timber framed barn. It has undergone an amazing transformation. As you can see, it has been beautifully and imaginatively restored and is now the Barn Cafe selling drinks and food, particularly excellent, farmhouse ice cream.
