Manor Farm, Bourn

Manor Farm, Bourn, lies just south of the A428 and east of Ermine Street (the old North Road) in Cambridgeshire. The Farmhouse and Great Barn are both medieval.

The barn is clad in tarred corrugated iron which has saved it from the ravages of weather and time. The aisle posts are similar to ones further east in Suffolk. They are cut on only two sides and rather curved, with long straight braces to the tie beams.

The interior has recently been repaired and it is occasionally open it to the public. There is a pleasant tea room and farm shop next to the barn.
