We passed The Red Barn while we were on our way into Kent for a barn hunting holiday. We just had to stop and how nice it was!
It is a timber-framed, aisled barn now converted into a pub and restaurant. What was really delightful was that the restaurant was in the barn with small dining areas in each bay of the aisles and larger tables in the body of the barn. A lot of the walls where lined with books and the whole place had a friendly and homely atmosphere.
Both the owners and the diners were happy to let me photograph the barn and the patrons.
