Brook Rural Museum, Brook, Kent

The threshing barn at Brook Rural Museum in Kent houses a collection of agricultural machines and tools. It is a typical Medieval Kentish barn; timber-framed, aisled with curved braces supporting the crown posts and the aisle piers. It has two midstreys with later wagon porches inserted on one side.

The barn is part of a traditional Kent farmstead complete with an Oast house. The Museum is run by volunteers and administered by The Brook Rural Museum Trust. To find out more about the Museum, opening times etc. it is best to go to their website.
