Baddesley Clinton Barn

This is a typical three bay threshing barn, which could have been found in the yard of almost any eighteenth or nineteenth century farm. Like many of its kind, it has now become the tea room for the great house which it once helped support.

The conversion has been carefully carried out, with the main door being glazed, to preserve its size and shape, and the fine queen post trusses cleaned and restored.

We had gone to Baddesley Clinton to visit the fine moated manor run by the National Trust, but the barn was a definite bonus for me.
