You see a lot more of England if you avoid the Motroways and dual carriageways. Heading down the B1408 to avoid the A12 we spotted this large barn in Stanway between Colchester and Marks Tey.

It is a five bay post & truss barn with two large wagon porches. It is clapboard clad with a corrugated asbestos half-hipped roof. Inside the original braces have been removed and replaced with knee joints. It is now the office and salesroom for a landscaping supplies company.
