The barn at Blackmarsh Farm in Dorset was built in the early nineteenth century. It is a large, stone-built barn with a clay tile roof. There are two gabled wagon porches on the east side and two large doors, to the height of the eaves, opposite them.
The trusses are bolted together rather than being jointed, an example of the introduction of industrial construction into agricultural buildings.
The stable and farmyard now house an impressive toy shop and the barn is used for go-karting and to host parties and events.
