On a recent trip to Shropshire, while driving along a single track road, I pulled over to allow a local driver to pass. She stopped to check that we were not lost and thanked me for giving way.
About a mile further on we spotted this barn and the driver we had seen was unloading her weekly shop. I pulled in to help her unload and she gave me permission to photograph the barn.
It is of post and truss construction with wood cladding. It is built on a steep slope and sub-divided internally with what may be a hay loft or granary at the lower end. It is no longer in agricultural use but is used for general storage.
