Winterbourne Manorial Barn, Gloucestershire

Winterbourne Manorial barn is part of a farm complex next to the parish church a little way outside the present village of Winterbourne in Gloucestershire. The barn was built in 1342, by Thomas de Bradeston, who was Lord of the Manor of Winterbourne from 1328 until his death in 1360.

It was originally eleven bays long, but only seven bays survive. It has a raised-cruck roof and one midstrey, although there were probably two originally. It is now run by Winterbourne Medieval Barn Trust which runs regular community events and opens the barn for Heritage Open Days.
