Kelmscott Manor. Oxfordshire

Kelmscott Manor is a Tudor Manor House on the edge of the Cotswolds. It was once the home of William Morris, who as well as being an influential, writer, artist and designer was one of the founders of the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Buildings and therefore one of my heroes.

The manor is now owned by the Society of Antiquaries of London and is usually open to the public two days a week during the season.

The barn is a small Cotswold stone building backing onto South Road. It is used to display information about William Morris and the Manor.
