Belbroughton is near Halesowen outside Birmingham in Worcestershire, but the village is surprisingly rural.
The barn faces the large car park behind the Bell Inn. It is an eighteenth century, five bay, brick barn with a central midstrey. There are four tiers of ventilation slots in the long walls and diaper ventilation holes in the gables. The interior is open to the roof and retains the original tie-beam trusses.
We ate at the inn. The food and service are excellent. Visit the website to see the menu or enquire about hiring the barn for an event.
