We came across this barn quite by accident. As we were driving via the back roads out of Birmingham we glimpsed the granary and wagon shed (right) and the barn (below) down a small cul-de-sac.
The manor is now a country hotel, and the great barns have been converted into en-suite bedrooms. But all around it are the remains of the manor and home farm. There is a tiny church next to the manor (in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust).
In the fields near the manor are the remains of a moat and a building in the middle of a field which was probably a dovecote.
