Singleton Barn, Kent

Singleton Barn next to the manor house in Chart, Kent is a timber-framed, aisled barn. It is clapboard clad, with a clay tile roof.

It has been successfully converted into a pub and restaurant with the bar being placed in one aisle between the midstreys.

A mezzanine floor has been inserted at one end, but there is still a view down the full length of the barn, and you can get up close and personal with the roof trusses.
