The Corn Barn near Cullompton in Devon is a huge stone threshing barn.  It originally had cob walls but some of these have been replaced with stone. It also has a new roof and a gallery inserted at one end. It once had a water wheel to drive the threshing machinery, which has now been replaced by a replica.

At right angles to the threshing barn is a linhay or hay loft which contains a bar and extra reception area. The barn’s walls are treated with the traditional lime wash while one side wall of the linhay has been replaced with windows and large glass doors. The buildings enclose two sides of the farmyard which is now grassed and flagged to provide an outdoor reception area.
