The barns at Manor Farm, Stanford Dingley house the workshops of McCurdy & Co. They are specialists in oak timber framing and were responsible for the restoration of Pilton Tithe Barn and the reconstruction of the Globe Theatre on the South Bank.
The barns are part of a farm complex which includes a granary and three barns. The parish church is next door. The barns are timber-framed, post & truss barns of the eighteenth century or thereabouts. The cladding has been replaced with polythene sheet (right) to allow more light in. The farmyard is used as their framing yard (bottom right).
