Titchfield Abbey Barn

Titchfield Abbey Barn in Titchfield, Hampshire is a fine timber-framed, aisled barn. The barn is approximately 50m long by 15m wide, with timbers dated by dendrochronology to 1407-1409.

It has eight bays, but each bay is sub-divided by an extra truss cantilevered from the wall posts. The west side and south end were re-clad in flint and brick, possibly with material from the abbey after its dissolution. The east side and north end are clapboard clad.

The barn has been converted into a theatre and is also used as an event venue.
