Cruck Barn at Quarry Farm

This barn, in Rowington Green, Warwickshire, is probably sixteenth century although only two pairs of cruck blades remain from this period. Later repairs saw some crucks replaced with queen-post trusses.

The rest of the frame is a typical Warwickshire box-frame with brick infill. One pair of cruck blades can be seen in the gable end. The frame stands on a stone plinth wall. It has a half-hipped, clay tile roof.
