Harpendenbury Farm Barn,
Hertfordshire

This is a monastic, timber-framed, aisled barn. It was built at the end of the fifteenth or beginning of the sixteenth century. It has seven bays with two midstreys. The crown post trusses support a clay tile roof. It has undergone many modifications in its life. The latest of these was a complete restoration and conversion to an open plan office with a mezzanine floor inserted at one end. Subsequently to that  it became a free school. I can’t find any later references.
