I find barns to visit in all sorts of ways. A few weeks ago an advert for Henwood Court Financial Planning popped up on my Home page on Facebook. The only reason I can think of why the algorithms selected to target me was that they work from a cruck barn in Sutton Coldfield. I contacted them and they kindly invited me to visit and photograph the lovely barn conversion.
The site was previously call New Shipton Farm, which was first recorded in 1433 as "le Newshippen", the property of the Lord of the Manor of Sutton, Richard Beauchamp, the Earl of Warwick. The barn has five pairs of crucks. They are made of oak which has been dendrochronologically dated to 1425, so the barn was built soon after that date.
